Dr. Chui directs the USC Alzheimer's Disease Research Center and is a pioneering researcher in vascular contributions to dementia — her work helped establish vascular cognitive impairment as a distinct clinical entity. She has a particular commitment to dementia research in Asian American and Pacific Islander communities, which are often underrepresented in clinical studies. Her clinic serves one of the most linguistically and culturally diverse patient populations in the country.
